This super easy and healthy veggie wrap has a top secret ingredient to give it some pizzazz. I can’t wait to share with you this game changer!
If you are like me, you are always on the go. When the fam has already had boring sandwiches or Chick-Fil-A every day for the past week, it’s time for a healthy switch up. This healthy veggie hummus wrap is my go to! One of the best things about this wrap is how easy it is. I’ll be completely honest with you, if a recipe has more than 6 or 7 ingredients my stress level starts to go up and I question my culinary skills. There have been many times I’ve thrown my hands up and just ordered pizza. Thankfully, this recipe is easy peasy so I can save the pizza scape goat for another time.
The only thing that can be a tiny bit time consuming is chopping the vegetables. So, I tend to chop up a big batch at one time then store them in a container. That way when I am in a pinch for time, I can slap the wrap together up in a jiffy.

All of these fresh vegetables with gorgeous bright colors give a nice crunch. Paired with the hummus, avocado, secret sauce and wrap bread — let me just tell you it is just delish!
I even change the wrap up for my kids and add sliced chicken or turkey swap out for their favorite veggies and they love it too! Plus Mamma feels good that they are finally getting some of the veggies they need so desperately in their diet.
TOP SECRET INGREDIENT
You are dying to know the secret ingredient, I know because I’m dying to share it with you! So let’s get to it! Drumroll please… Introducing REDUCTION OF BALSAMIC VINEGAR GLAZE! (Get it on Amazon here). I love drizzling this yummy glaze on the veggie hummus wrap recipe mentioned in this post but you can also drizzle it on salads, steak, chicken, vegetable side dishes and more. I found my little bottle at Kroger here in the great State of Texas. Drizzle the love my friend, you are super welcome. 😉
The original flavor Sabra brand hummus is what I used. Feel free to use any flavor that floats your boat (roasted red pepper, garlic and more). Side note: Did you know there is even CHOCOLATE hummus? I definitely wouldn’t it use for this recipe but, it’s actually pretty good with Strawberries and pretzels!
This FlatOut brand wrap bread in the Italian Herb flavor is great. I like this brand option because the bread doesn’t tear as easily as a regular tortilla or Pita bread.
SLICE VS. DICE
For the veggies, you can either slice or dice. Dicing all the vegetables makes it easier to cram everything in the wrap for a glorious finish. I did both and it turned out great too.
